The ePremier League have announced that there will be a prize fund for it’s second season which began this week. A £40,000 prize pool has been allocated for the FIFA20 competition, with the winner receiving £20,000 and £10,000 for the runner up, the runners-up of the consoles finals will receive £5,000 each.
The qualifications began on December 2nd and continue until December 22nd with various events to take place during the coming months. Players have the chance to represent a Premier League club, both virtually and in the real world. The club playoffs will take place in February, and then the finals will take place at the end of March 2020.
After a successful run of the first league in 2019, Gfinity, a UK based organiser will again be operating the event.
Those players who perform well will earn the coveted Fifa 20 Global Series Points which can then used to qualify for the EA Sports Fifa 20 Global Series Playoffs.
The finals will be broadcast live on both the Sky Sports channel, The league Facebook channel and also on their Twitch channel.
The event is set to be a exciting tournament, and the prize pool was an inevitable outcome this year. Players will fund their own travel until they reach the finals when the jackpot is in sight.
Here at FUTR Sports, we wish all competitors the best of luck.
